About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Digital Solutions Lanka, which runs Kuli (www.kuli.dsolk.com). By creating an account or using Kuli you accept them. If you use Kuli for a business, you accept them for that business.

The service

Kuli helps landlords and property agents keep records of properties, renters, agreements, rent, payments and expenses, and send invoices and reminders. It is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not give legal, tax or financial advice, and printed agreements and reports are templates you should check yourself.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your login and by staff you add.
• Give true details, and only enter data about renters that you are allowed to hold and use.
• Do not use Kuli to send spam, to harass anyone, or for anything unlawful.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are charged monthly or yearly at the price shown when you choose them.
• Plans are paid in advance and are not refunded for part periods, except where the law requires it.
• If a paid plan is not renewed, after a short grace period the account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted; features beyond the Free plan pause.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next renewal.

Messages

Automatic WhatsApp messages depend on the gateway you connect and its rules. You are responsible for the content you send and for having your renters' agreement to be contacted.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You can download it at any time and close your account; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and will tell you why.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Kuli available and your data safe, and take daily backups, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, Digital Solutions Lanka is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost rent, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have jurisdiction.
